Happy December everyone!
It's that time of the year where lots of people are in the malls or online looking for gifts for loved ones. Most of you know we love to support local as much as possible and Christmas is the perfect time to do so! Self care products are such an easy stocking stuffer for everyone. I found a local product that I think would make a fabulous gift or stocking stuffer and it is made in Victoria, BC.
I would like to introduce to you the Kodo Collection. This line is made with plant based, organic and wildcrafted ingredients. They are also cruelty free!
What I love about the Kodo products I have tried so far is that they are super refreshing smelling, I also love how clean and crisp the packaging and branding is. My favourite product at the moment is The Matcha Mask Clay Mask Exfoliant.
I have tried a lot of masks and I have to say this is one of my favourite for a few reasons.
1. The smell is so refreshing, I highly recommend using it in the morning as part of your wake up! I love the smell.
2. I like that you mix the water to make your paste so you can make it as thick or thin as you like.
3. It is easy to tell when the mask has dried and is ready to be removed.
My skin type is very dry and the best part of this mask for me is that when I remove it with water I can actually rub my skin and the product exfoliates off. It is basically a 2-in-1 product that leaves my skin feeling very refreshed!
Ingredients: kaolin (french green clay), camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf powder*, maranta arudinacea (arrowroot) root powder*, oryza satuva (white rice) flour*, essential oils of lavendula officionalis (lavender)*, pelargonium graveolens (geranium)*, boswellia carterri (frankincense)*.
This matcha mask is full of beneficial ingredients for your skin and is a a great value of $26.00CAD, and I know you would get a very good amount of masks out of it.
